I go to VT and I am a huge fan of Hokie Football but I believe that Marcus should be booted out because he sours the reputation that Virginia Tech's great program has established for itself.
To all you people who think "Hokie's Cheat All The Time..." and "VT gets away with everything..."

Sorry, but most major football programs host some hooligan participants, if not unsportsmanlike incidents. The pressure to recruit superior athletes, regardless of their academic credentials, is the reason. Y'all want the wins and the prestige, the emotional high, and the memorabilia that goes with national college sports championships, so point no fingers. Your favorite college's black eye is coming soon, too.
As a VT fan and former Hokie, I agree that Vick's behavior was very unsportsmanlike. But, in no way does that mean that VT only won the game by cheating. Every school has some form of "black sheep" that brings a cloud over the entire university, and Louisville is certainly not an exception to this. Do not come down on a school because of one person's ignorant behavior. Before, you start listing the problems that one school has had with its players, do a search for incidents with Cardinal players both past and present and you'll find some very similar incidents to the ones you are calling VT out on. Every university has them. Marcus Vick's behavior was extremely childish but don't take it as far as saying the entire team cheated in order to win that game. VT came back to win that game with the help of Louisville's defense (or lack of defense) in the second quarter. Let's leave it at that. Get over it, what he did was wrong, he was punished, GET OVER IT. Stop whinning and get ready for next season!

And the aforementioned Hokie problems were a direct response to the commentor that challenged someone to present facts that indeed VT has had more than it's fair share of trouble with athletes...which it has...

I live and breathe VT. Frank Beamer is one of the best coaches to ever have the position. Marcus Vick isn't half the quarterback that Randall was. He's floating on his brothers name. Now he's going to try out with the Dolphins?! I really like the Dolphins but it's good to have your sorry punk-__s out of Virginia. Tony Mabe
